For publishers
Listing guidelines
These guidelines help keep DreamHomy a clear, reliable and useful platform for those looking for medium- to long-term rentals. Every listing must be real, accurate, up to date and consistent with the information provided.
Last update: 15 maggio 2026
1. Purpose of the guidelines
DreamHomy is designed for listings of medium- and long-term rentals. The publication rules aim to improve listing quality, reduce misleading content and offer a more trustworthy environment for users and owners.
By publishing a listing on DreamHomy, the user undertakes to comply with these guidelines and to provide truthful, up-to-date and relevant information.
2. Who can publish
Only those who are legitimately entitled to do so can publish a listing, such as the property owner or someone authorised to promote the rental.
In the future, DreamHomy may request additional verification or documentation to confirm the identity of the publisher and the legitimacy of the listing.
3. Allowed listings
Allowed listings relate to properties that are genuinely available for medium- or long-term rental, such as apartments, rooms or other housing solutions consistent with the service offered by DreamHomy.
- The property must really exist.
- Each listing must refer to a single property unit.
- Key information must be accurate and understandable.
- Price, type and location must be consistent with reality.
4. Disallowed listings
Listings that violate the law, common sense or the minimum quality required by the platform are not allowed.
- False, duplicate or misleading listings.
- Properties that are not genuinely available.
- Listings for tourist or very short-term rentals, if not covered by the platform.
- Offensive, discriminatory, violent or degrading content.
- Descriptions written in a misleading way or full of irrelevant promotional text.
5. Information quality
Each listing must contain enough information for users to understand what is being offered. An incomplete or ambiguous listing reduces trust and may be limited, corrected or removed.
- Provide a clear title that matches the property.
- Describe the accommodation in a simple, concrete and readable way.
- Specify price, city, type and main features correctly.
- Avoid excessive capitals, slogans and unhelpful text.
6. Rules for photos
Images must genuinely represent the listed property and help users assess it transparently.
- Upload real, clear photos that are relevant to the listing.
- Do not use duplicate images, photos taken from other listings or unrelated to the property.
- Do not add watermarks, logos, promotional text or misleading collages.
- Avoid photos showing documents, plates, faces or unnecessary personal data.
7. Location and address
The property’s location must be as accurate as possible and must not be invented or altered in a way that misleads those looking for a home.
If DreamHomy detects significant inconsistencies between description, address and listing content, it may suspend or remove the listing until clarification.
8. Prohibited content in the description
The description must talk about the property, not become a generic advertising space.
- No spam or repetitive text.
- No external links, websites or promotion of other listings.
- No offensive or discriminatory language.
- No information that is not relevant to the property offered.
9. Keeping listings up to date
Those who publish a listing must keep it up to date. When a property is no longer available, the listing should be edited or removed within a reasonable time.
DreamHomy may introduce periodic checks on active listings to verify that they are still valid and consistent with actual availability.
10. Moderation and checks
DreamHomy may perform manual or automatic checks on published listings, also to prevent fraud and improve quality and safety on the platform.
If content is doubtful, incomplete or against the rules, DreamHomy may limit its visibility, request changes, suspend or remove the listing.
11. Rule violations
Repeated or serious violations may lead to listing removal and, in more serious cases, temporary or permanent limitations on the account.
The goal is not to penalise those who publish in good faith, but to protect the overall quality of the platform and user trust.
12. Tips for a good listing
Beyond respecting the rules, a good listing should be clear, well-presented and useful for readers. The more complete and transparent a listing is, the more likely it is to receive relevant, genuinely interested enquiries.
- Choose a bright, representative main photo, ideally showing a strong point of the property.
- Use a short but informative title, for example indicating type, area and a real benefit of the accommodation.
- Write a concrete description: explain spaces, availability, rental duration and useful features clearly.
- Avoid vague promises or overly advertising formulas; a few clear details are better than generic phrases.
- Check spelling, price, address and photo consistency before publishing.
13. Future updates
These guidelines may be updated over time to reflect service evolution, new features, moderation needs or legal requirements.
The latest version will always be available on this page.
